About Us

Doreshill Farm Emporium is the Islands largest and original Vintage and Antiques Emporium. Mel Hicks took over asEmporium owner in 2017 and now runs it along with husband Rob for four days per week 1030 – 430 Thursday to Sunday and there are monthly ‘Appointment only’ days for those who want a longer browse. The Emporium is made up of four barns – The Shop, The Potting Shed, The Big Barn and The JTiques Furniture Barn all situated around a lovely old courtyard that contains lots of gardenalia.

The Emporium is known for having a wide and eclectic range of items all curated by 30 dealers and has been visited by Antiques Road Trip on more than one occasion. There is plenty of free parking and the Emporium is wheelchair accessible (although with COVID-19 restrictions we’d need a phone call first) and Doggy friendly. It’s an all weather venue although since COVID-19 it no longer offers refreshments. The Emporium maintains a big social media presence in the community – Mel runs the Facebook and Twitter pages and Rob posts new pics on Instagram daily. The Emporium accepts all major credit cards along with Apple Pay and are proud to be part of the American Express  ‘shop small’ initiative to support small businesses. The Emporium is also proud to support two local charities ‘The pop up soup kitchen’ which offers vital support to the Island’s homeless community. They also donate to local fund raising and the Islands Feline Welfare Charity events each year. The Emporium has adopted new safety measures to support COVID-19 regulations so that you can be assured of a ‘safe space’ as you shop and very much looks forward to welcoming you when you visit.
